Women in the Law Lecture Given by Beverley Rogers

Firm partner Beverley Rogers took time out last month to lecture on “Women in the Law” at Westchester Community College. The College’s Viking News covered the event in a feature article by Staff Writer Laura Molinari entitled Remembering Women’s History Month.”

The article quoted Beverley on the strength of motivation necessary to succeed in life as well as the legal profession:

Women need to learn to become important to themselves, their family and their society, to believe in their capacity to overcome any obstacle. Education is empowering and perseverance is the most necessary quality for anyone that wants to succeed.

In litigation, a primary focus of Beverley’s practice, these comments are particularly apt.

According to Ms. Molinari, Beverley’s lecture and a parallel lecture by Dr. Iris Cook on “Women in Science,” were “very enjoyable and informative.”
